Review: Maybelline - Super Stay 7 days gel nail Colour

If you’re looking for something that is going to keep your polish intact and have that “ooooo shiny” salon shine then the Maybelline forever strong and Super Stay 7 clear polishes are the way to go!

I absolutely hate it when mine or other peoples nails are chipped, for me it’s either wear it perfectly or make sure it’s close to flawless or just don’t wear it ( harsh maybe but that’s just one of my weird things :P )

The Super Stay 7 day (and Forever strong in Crystal clear) outlasts 7 days no doubt, as long as you don’t  mind some normal wearing of the tips. But it doesn’t looked chipped, it just looks like you nails have  grown. It’s not major chipping where its chunk of colour that is missing, just an even and EXTREMELY  thin line.. Its virtually undetectable unless you’re an obsessive nail freak like myself.
Drying  Time about 15 minutes

  • Easily lasts 7 days without chipping
  • Both give outstanding shine for 7 days or in my case 9days
  • Good for usage as base coat as well as top
  • A good shade range (especially good if you can’t be bothered or have time to paint your nails twice)

Defiantly gets 5/5

In all honesty I could and have worn this as a top coat for 3 weeks straight.. In fact the Forever Strong Pro has lasted me 3 weeks for an exam period before whilst staying almost perfect. No major chipping

I don’t know if Forever Strong and Super Stay 7 are exactly the same product, but I’ve noticed that they have  slowly stopped stocking the Forever Strong and stocking more of the Super Stay 7..  They are booth called crystal clear and I’m pretty sure they are close to identical product-wise because I have been using the Forever Strong for ages and the Super stay 7 gives me the same amazing results.

These two are the only top coats that I keep coming back too and it’s very affordable,  at around £4.05.

If you’ve tried these and didn’t love it please let me know why?!  And if you’ve tried an amazing top coat that is chip free and keeps your nails looking shiny, please share!

Review: Montagne Jeunesse Break Out Mask

It’s a two-step mask especially for acne but it’s one that actually works and feels nice whilst on the skin.

The first step is the mask.  I could have probably used it twice but I slapped it all on for one use. It is cooling and refreshing while it’s drying and there is a slight tingling sensation… not itchy! Just a slight tingle which means it’s doing something, which I like.

After 20 minutes I washed it off, patted my face dry and applied step two which is the moisturiser. Again there is enough for two applications but I put it all on and just let it sink in naturally. On my skin personally the moisturisers feels oily, not in a bad way though, its cooling like the mask and the next day I did see a difference in my skin. I just thought it was unusual for it to feel like that, but I gently rub it in every now and then whilst it’s on and my skin absorbs it after a while. My skin then feels soo soft and hydrated and clean.
It’s a 4/5 for me only because the moisturiser was not what I was expecting to be I don’t understand why it’s so oily. But otherwise every effective mask both cost wise and general efficient on the skin. Next morning, break outs have calmed down, skin looks a lot cleaner, you can tell its taken away lots of impurities and dead skin cells.

I really like this mask from Montagne Jeunesse, and it’s the only one I’ve tried so far so If you’ve tried any others of their vast range that you recommend please let me know, I’d love to try it. And pretty much any other face masks too. He-he

Available from Asda and Online from Monatgne Jeunesse   -  £1.49

Go Ape Experience

I am petrified of heights, climbing trees, falling from heights and all of nature really.

Despite this I decided to go to Go Ape with a couple of friends and I have to say it’s one the best things I’ve ever done, yes it is still scary, I recommend you go with people you trust and people that are going to support you if you know you may freak out half way between two trees *Cough* me *Cough*.
